Production service for US doc (II)

In early June, tausend Rosen provided production services for a US documentary about Wilhelm Reich, the Austrian-American psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, sexologist and sociologist.

Reich, whose books were burned both in 1933 in Nazi Germany as well in the USA as under the supervision of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1956 and 1960, decreed in his will that his estate should be made available to the public in 2007. Having read the documents that the Harvard University Medical School has since released for scientific studies, and unhappy about the previous films on Wilhelm Reich, US director Kevin Hinchey and his producer Glenn Orkin decided to shoot a documentary that included all the facts. The filming planned for Europe is now finishing up with recordings and interviews in Vienna.
