KREUZ & QUER SPECIAL at Christmas

Every year around mid-November at the latest, the big Christmas rush sets in again. Time for quiet thought and introspection in preparation for Christmas is nowhere to be found. Yet there is a great longing for silence and places beyond the shopping madness and overeating where this time can be experienced in other ways. The Carmelite monastery in Linz, which combines contemplative spirituality with active service for the good of humanity, opens its doors to outsiders every year. The "Christmas at the Monastery" offer is also a way for people without family to experience December 24th in a community. This report accompanies the "guests" of the Carmelite monastery on Christmas Eve.

Christmas in a Monestary, December 24th, 11:30 p.m., ORF 2, 30 min.
