This 10-minute portrait was created for the farewell festivities of the passionate politician and long-time president of the Jewish Community Ariel Muzicant. Today, Ariel Muzicant can look back on a career spanning more than forty years. The film takes a brief look at Muzicant's political and personal influence in Austria: From his first campaigns as a student of the Jewish Student Union in the 70's, through the time of Waldheim, the conflict with Jörg Haider, and his appearance at the "sea of light", all the way to the founding of the Historical Commission and the successful negotiation of restitution payments. We also hear from his most important companions from politics and culture: Franz Vranitzky, Ben Segenreich, Andreas Khol, Alfred Gusenbauer, Robert Schindel and more talk about the personal experiences they shared with Muzicant.
