Through the media, movies and information campaigns, the public visibility of homosexuals has increased. Gay and lesbian love is socially accepted, at least in urban areas. The question of whether homosexuals should raise children and thus serve as role models for their lifestyle, however, is still a point where opinions differ greatly. The film presents a portrait of a lesbian and a gay couple who each have a child. How did they come to have their child and what problems and prejudices do they face? How do relatives and the people around them react to this family model? Are homosexual couples who wish to have children forced to break the laws due to the current legal situation?
